About the Kent Moths Gallery

This blog is intended as a gallery of photos for all moths found in the county of Kent. Please send through your quality images (and links to your websites) of moth species caught yesterday or yesteryear in order that this can become a complete archive of Kent's moth fauna.

Many thanks,

Celypha lacunana - (1076) One in the trap but on a walk across some rough ground locally the next day I disturbed loads.

Willow Beauty - Commonly distributed over much of England and the southern part of Scotland.

Crambus lathoniellus - (1301) an abundant moth and frequently disturbed during the day when walking through grass.

Epiblema cynosbatella - (1174) the yellow labial palps distinguish this from other similar micro moths.
