About the Kent Moths Gallery

This blog is intended as a gallery of photos for all moths found in the county of Kent. Please send through your quality images (and links to your websites) of moth species caught yesterday or yesteryear in order that this can become a complete archive of Kent's moth fauna.

Hayes - 4th July 2010

A few from last night below. Two nights ago, I also caught Small Ranunculus which is shown to be RDB/Immigrant. A very pretty little moth and easy to ID, but I didn't have the camera, so was unable to grab a photo. Sorry, but interesting nonetheless.

Common (left) and Scare (right) Footman. Quite different when seen together.

Buff Arches from a couple of nights ago.

My first Elephant Hawkmoths of the year trapped last night.
