About the Kent Moths Gallery

This blog is intended as a gallery of photos for all moths found in the county of Kent. Please send through your quality images (and links to your websites) of moth species caught yesterday or yesteryear in order that this can become a complete archive of Kent's moth fauna.

Many thanks,

Moths from Steve Broyd

"I caught this Scarlet Tiger at Sissinghurst Castle last night (29/6). It was completely off radar. As far as I know it no longer breeds in Kent and is less than annual (unless someone knows otherwise)."

Orange Moth. " The Orange Moth was caught at home in Biddenden"

Clay Fan-foot. "The Clay Fan-foot was also caught last night at Sissinghurst Castle. It carries Nationally Scarce "A" status but is found very locally in parts of Sussex and Kent - as such it was more expected but still very pleasing to catch."

Thanks to Steve Broyd for his photos.
